Bay Area Friends of Tibet
educates the public about Tibet and the Tibetan people;
organizes grassroots projects and events; and
cooperates with other Tibet support groups locally and internationally.

Panchen Lama

On Friday April 25th 2008, His Holiness the 11th Panchen Lama turned 19 years old.  Abducted by the Chinese government at the age of 6, his whereabouts still remain unknown to the world.
